Clearance Sale Of Old Handmade Items In Preparation For Closure

With just over three weeks to go before KT Miniatures closes as a business due to my retirement, I am having a clearing of yet more forgotten items that I came across in yet another box in my old workroom! This time I found some of my vintage style set pieces  containing old packaging, boxes, ephemera etc. I used to make all this old packaging and ephemera, then incorporate them into these set pieces, and sold them over many years. They were purposely made to look old and well used, so that they could sit in a vintage dolls house, as well as a more modern reproduction dolls house or miniature scene.

A Few Handmade Items Of Unsold Stock From Last Saturday Are Now Available.....

Today I have been listing one or two items of unsold stock left over from last Saturday's event,  to various categories within my Exclusive Handmade Sections on KT Miniatures website. These have been made to look old so can be used in both vintage and reproduction dolls houses-most are 1/12th scale.

If you click on the following link, it will take you through to the Exclusive Handmade Index then simply click on each individual room that you wish to visit:

Plus the bathing machine and Punch & Judy tent that were created for the Victorian Seaside Scene that featured in several issues over the summer months in the Dolls House & Miniature Scene magazine as a "how to make project", are now for sale on KT Miniatures Shed, Outhouse & Outdoors Page.

Over the next few days I will be listing various vintage and antique items that were unsold at last Saturday's event. Also, I shall be putting up for sale an unusual and large dolls house that will appear in the Bargain Basement at a very reasonable price and which would make a brilliant project for someone.

I May Be A Bit Quiet ....But Just Doing A Spot Of Creating!

Whoo Hoo......thank you to all you lovely Followers who have just recently joined us on here.....there now appears to be 200 of you.....
WELCOME!

Sorry I have been rather quiet both on KT Miniatures Journal and also on my website....(nothing new has been listed in the past few days). I am still here....but the reason for me lurking in the background rather quietly is that not only has real life got in the way a little (this includes trips up north to uni open days with daughter) but I have also been embarking on a spot of creating too, in preparation for Thame Fair in 3 weeks time.

I try and give my creations a well used and much loved appearance so that they can look just at home in a genuine vintage dolls house as well as a dolls house that may have only recently been built.
I am hoping to have a new selection of handmade stock for the fair......and am thoroughly enjoying getting back into the swing of proper creating once more.
Everything shown in the photos will be unveiled at Thame Dolls House & Miniatures Fair on Saturday 23rd February here in Thame, Oxfordshire. Hope lots of you can come this year.....it is always a fantastic day out!!
